Breathwork FAQ

  • VitalBreath is a unique conscious breath practice done lying down on the floor on an empty stomach. It is a circular connected form of breathing where you take two breaths in and one breath out through your mouth. It is a phenomenal technique to release trauma and stress from your body just in a single session. It is quite different than the relaxing breathing techniques.

  • You can experience a multitude of benefits of breathwork. Some of these benefits are listed below, remember that breathwork impacts everyone differently. Studies indicate that circular breathwork can lead to the following benefits:

  • If you are a beginner, then you should start with 1-2 times per week for 30 minutes under the guidance of a certified coach.

  • Since during a breathwork session, you increase the amount of oxygen and reduce the carbon dioxide in your body there can be a few physical symptoms that people might experience such as:

    A tingly sensation in your hands, feet, and face

    Dizziness, light-headedness

    Muscle tightness in the hands and jaw: this is called “tetany” and mostly happens to beginners and people who have a calcium, magnesium or iron deficiency. It’s not dangerous and goes away once you resume normal breathing.

    Altered states and intense emotional release

    None of these symptoms are dangerous is any way and go as soon as you resume normal breathing. 

  • Item descriptioPlease consult your healthcare practitioner if you are not sure about your ability to practice breathwork. The following are some of the contraindications:

    • Cardiovascular problems

    • High or abnormal blood pressure

    • History of aneurisms

    • Epilepsy or history of seizures

    • Anyone on heavy medication

    • Severe psychiatric symptoms, particularly psychosis or paranoia

    • Bipolar depression

    • Osteoporosis

    • Recent surgery

    • Glaucoma

    • Pregnancy

  • Each session for VitalBreath is $199 and lasts for about 50-70 minutes. I tailor each session based on individua needs and couple it with journaling. If you feel stuck in a particular area of life, I would recommend getting a bundle of 4 classes so that we can go deeper and make incremental progress. A bundle of 4 VitalBreath sessions can be purchased at $599.
